Wireframe overlay of the word "Uniwidth" in Unifora Standard across all nine weights from Thin to Black. Every character keeps its exact width as weight changes — the foundational uniwidth property that makes Unifora stable in UI and product design
Close-up of Unifora's lowercase "o" with bezier construction points visible, showing the straight segments on round glyphs. This signature design detail gives Unifora its industrial character and distinguishes it from purely geometric sans-serifs
Diagram illustrating Unifora's corner cuts on diagonal terminals, shown with scissor marks around the word "New York". The cuts carve breathing room where uniwidth spacing would otherwise cause angled strokes to collide at intersections
Unifora OpenType features: stylistic sets, square punctuation, high-legibility, open six and nine; character alternates for I, J, G, a, g, i, j, l, y, 4; ligatures, ordinals, slashed zero, tabular figures, and case-sensitive forms

ABOUT

Unifora Standard is the default width—100% proportions, the axis midpoint, and the clearest expression of what the Unifora uniwidth variable sans-serif superfamily is built to do. This is Unifora at its intended reading rhythm: industrial in character, architecturally precise, without the compression of the narrower widths or the expanded presence of the wider ones.

Standard works at every scale, from small UI labels and body copy to large editorial headlines, without requiring optical correction at either end. It is the right starting point for most design systems: general-purpose product interfaces, editorial layouts, brand typography, and technical documentation.

The uniwidth principle means that within Standard, every glyph holds its advance width across all nine weights and the full ±18° slant range—animated or weight-responsive text becomes a matter of CSS, not layout engineering.

The Unifora user’s manual provides complete implementation guidance including variable font loading, OpenType features, and recommended use cases for each width.

Unifora Standard comes with 9 weights and matching italic and retalic styles with slants up to 18°. The variable font includes two axes: weight and slant.
